Herbal/ natural remedies for sleep

Um, I've tried them all. :( And none of them work for me.

I've tried:
Rescue Remedy for sleep
Valerian Root
Calm's Forte
Magnesium
Honey
And different combinations of all the above.

I honestly think that it is a physical problem as well as a mental one. I spoke with an herbalist today and he said that Melatonin (around 1 mg) is safe for breastfeeding moms. I am going to try that tonight. Hopefully I will have good news to report. If this doesn't help me, I am going to call tomorrow and make an appointment with my doctor (you know it's serious if I am willing to seek medical help). Hopefully he can recommend a course of treatment or refer me to a specialist. Tired of being tired and going to finally do something about it.

Sicky McSickerson

My poor baby. He is so sick. He has a horrid case of diarrhea and some vomiting. Poor little guy. Thankfully the cloth diapers are making this easy on his bum. And I am even more thankful for nursing! Breastmilk is the only thing that he can keep down. My supply is going crazy with all this nursing. :)

In house news, dear Lord, I hate paperwork. We have been signing things left and right. Brandon is attending our home inspection today. So hopefully we get good news from that.

That is pretty much it for us right now. Taking care of Mr. Sickerson and trying to jump through a bazillion hoops for our house.

I had a negative test this morning, so moving on to cycle #3.

In other news, Nathan and I are sick! BOOOOO.... We both have stuffy noses. I thought that mine was related to allergies because I have had symptoms for the past week. But now it has moved into a cold or something. I can't hardly breathe! Poor Nathan hasn't been sleeping well the past two nights because of it. We had to cancel our photo session today for his 1 year pictures. We moved it to next weekend. Hopefully we feel better by then!

Finally feeling better!

Nathan seems to be doing much better today. He slept better last night so I really hope that this cold is behind us. Not really much new to report here.

Mama's baby is sick!

Poor little guy has his first cold. He hasn't been sleeping well and is so congested. We went to the pediatrician today and said that his stuffiness could be caused by teething. Unfortunately there isn't much we can do for him. So Mama has been giving him extra cuddles and snuggle time. Thankfully we really love our doctor and he is so supportive and AP! Those are hard to come by around here.

Sick with a capital "S"

Ugh....I feel horrible. I have the flu. I am so hoping that Nathan doesn't get it! He should be ok because he is getting all my antibodies from my milk. Thank goodness for breastfeeding at a time like this. Although my supply has decreased because I feel so yucky. So Mr. Nathan is nursing like a newborn! Which is good because I can lay on the couch and do that! Hopefully I feel better for the baptism and Brandon's birthday this weekend.

Speaking of Brandon, he always takes such good care of me when I don't feel well. He went into work early today so that he could come home early to help me. Such a sweetie. Love you honey! :)

Growth

Nathan now weighs 13lbs 10oz and is 24 inches long!!! WOW!!! My big boy! :)
