I hear ya. I'm dieting as well. It is hard being "stuck". Instead of falling back to your old ways, keep yourself motivated. How? Pictures of "skinnier" times or writing down all of the pros in what you're doing. You want to keep your head in the game. Don't give up! Look for that goal at the end of the (very long.. ha ha!) road. I found this online article helpful: http://www.oprah.com/health/Weight-Loss-Advice-Fitness-Plateau-Dr-KatzHope you find it helpful! :)
Sometimes, you need to eat MORE when you are working out so hard. I dont know if you are on myfitnesspal.com or not, but they have some great plateau busting ideas. Drink more water, increase calories, take an exercise break, etc. I know I lost weight quickly when I was eating 1200 cals a day, but hit a plateau. When I increased to 1500 calories, the weight started coming off faster again. Good luck! Keep it up!
you are rocking it lady ! don't worry about the plateau ... your body is adjusting to your increased activity so stick with it ... burn more than you consume and it will go ... also tis slightly true that muscle weighs more than fat ! might try measuring your waist, thighs, arms etc and compare them to say next week or something to see progress in another form !
This used to happen to me, and it is so frustrating. I agree about the eating more. Whenever I would hit a plateau I would eat one "all-out" dinner. (Like a huge plate of nachos or a big fat cheeseburger), and then it would start coming off again. Good luck, Mandie! You are doing great! (But I think you looked sensational to begin with)
